Guys check the default audio device in control panel. For the sake of 30 quid and you know it’s going to work and give you miles better sound than on-board audio I didn’t see it as too big a deal. If its an integrated card make sure its enabled in the bios. If you wanna try one more thing, RealTek have released one more Windows 7 driver just recently, so try that aswell. Back to square 1.
I really appreciate the help. The time now is Has anyone had the same problem or can anybody please help?

If its a dedicated sound card try refitting it. Last edited by johngalt; at Beep was present with Hard Boot. I’m having the same problem. Tried multiple Realtek drivers and nothing works.
